De Caruba STG-1 Tripod Mount Ring CII (W) is een statiefgondel voor het Canon EF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6L IS USM objectief. Door gebruik te maken van deze statiefkraag kun je dit grote objectief op een statief bevestigen. Dit zorgt voor een betere gewichtsverdeling van de apparatuur, dan wanneer je de camerabody direct op het statief zou bevestigen. Bovendien wordt hierdoor de lensmount van de camera ontlast wat zeer belangrijk is als je met zo'n zwaar objectief werkt.
