De JJC B-DB120 Lithium-Ion Battery for Ricoh GR IV / GR IV HDF / GR IV is een reserve-accu voor de Ricoh GR IV en vervangt de Ricoh DB-120. Capaciteit
De accu werkt op een nominale spanning van 3,87 V en komt daarmee op 6,97 Wh. Dat is dezelfde orde als de originele accu, dus je haalt er een vergelijkbaar aantal opnamen mee. Blijf je onder de 100 Wh, dan mag de accu mee in je handbagage.
Beveiliging
In de accu zit een beveiligingscircuit dat de lading afkapt als hij vol is, en dat ingrijpt bij te hoge stroom of kortsluiting. Dat is precies het punt waarop goedkope losse cellen het laten afweten. Elke accu gaat voor het verlaten van de fabriek 72 uur door een verouderingstest.
Opladen
Lithium-ion cellen hebben geen geheugeneffect, dus je hoeft de accu niet leeg te laten lopen voor je hem aan de lader hangt. Bijladen tijdens de lunch kost je dus niets aan levensduur. De laadeindspanning is 4,4 V.
Compatibiliteit
De accu past in de Ricoh GR IV, de GR IV HDF en de GR IV Monochrome. Voor oudere GR-modellen met een andere accu is hij niet bedoeld.

Lithium-Ionen-Zellen haben keinen Memory-Effekt, du musst den Akku also nicht leer fahren, bevor du ihn an das Ladegerät hängst. Nachladen in der Mittagspause kostet dich somit keine Lebensdauer. Die Ladeschlussspannung liegt bei 4,4 V.
