Een mix van veel van de beste kenmerken van Vortex ongelooflijk populaire Viper PST en Viper HS richtkijkers, de Viper HST richtkijker is gebouwd op een ultra-sterke 30mm, aluminium buis uit een stuk om ruime windage en elevatie travel en optimale afstelling te leveren. Een geavanceerd optisch systeem, benadrukt met een 4x zoom bereik, biedt veelzijdigheid in vergroting. Een ruime eye box met verhoogde oogafstand brengt schutters snel en gemakkelijk op het doel.
