Zachter licht
De kap verdeelt de flitspuls over een groter oppervlak in plaats van hem als een enkele bundel naar voren te sturen. De overgang tussen licht en schaduw verloopt daardoor geleidelijker en de slagschaduw achter je onderwerp valt minder op. Je levert wel lichtopbrengst in, dus zet het vermogen iets hoger of ga een stap dichterbij.
Montage
Je schuift de kap over de flitskop van de V480 tot hij vastzit; gereedschap heb je niet nodig. Kantel of draai je de kop, dan blijft de kap op zijn plek. Afnemen gaat net zo snel, dus je wisselt tussen zacht en direct licht zonder je opstelling af te breken.

Weicheres Licht

Softer light
The cap spreads the flash pulse across a larger area instead of sending it forward as a single beam. The transition between light and shadow becomes more gradual and the hard shadow behind your subject stands out less. You do give up some light output, so raise the power a little or move a step closer.
