Het optische ontwerp bestaat uit 4 groepen en 5 elementen, waarvan 2 met een hoge brekingsindex. De lens heeft een high-definition nano-multilagencoating en een water- en veegbestendige coating op het voorste element. Het ontwerp is compact en lichtgewicht en de filtermaat is 49 mm.
