De Viltrox FE-85 f/1.8 AF II onderscheidt zich van zijn voorganger door een slanker en lichter ontwerp en is ideaal voor portretfotografie. Daarbij helpt het lichtsterke diafragma van f/1.8 bij het werken in verschillende lichtomstandigheden en werken met kleine scherptedieptes en het isoleren van onderwerpen.
Hoge helderheid en scherpte
Het optiek omvat een extra laag dispersie-element, een asferisch elemen en 4 elementen gemaakt van een extreem transparant glas, die allemaal helpen om chromatische en sferische aberraties te verminderen om een hoge helderheid en scherpte te realiseren.
Snelle en stille autofocusprestaties
De FE-85 f/1.8 AF II is uitgerust met een STM-motor voor snelle en stille autofocusprestaties. Daarnaast heeft de lens een minimale scherpstelafstand van 80 centimeter voor het werken met close-up onderwerpen.
HD Nano-coating
Op de lenselementen is een meerlaagse HD Nano-coating aangebracht om flares en ghosting te onderdrukken voor een beter contrast bij het werken in heldere lichtomstandigheden.

The Viltrox FE-85 f/1.8 AF II differs from its predecessor in that it is slimmer and lighter in design and is ideal for portrait photography. In addition, the bright f/1.8 aperture helps when working in different lighting conditions, working with shallow depth of field and isolating subjects.
The optics include an extra-low dispersion element, an aspherical element and 4 elements made from an extremely transparent glass, all of which help to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations to achieve high clarity and sharpness.
The FE-85 f/1.8 AF II is equipped with an STM motor for fast and silent autofocus performance. In addition, the lens has a minimum focusing distance of 80 centimetres for working with close-up subjects.
A multi-layer HD Nano-coating is applied to the lens elements to suppress flares and ghosting for better contrast when working in bright light conditions.
A circular aperture with 9 blades contributes to pleasing bokeh quality.
