De Nitecore NU40 is een hoofdlamp die gebruik maakt van een ingebouwde 18650 Li-ion batterij die licht van gewicht en hoog in capaciteit is. Het apparaat is USB-C oplaadbaar en heeft een geoptimaliseerde intelligente oplaadoplossing waarmee het slechts 1,5 uur duurt om de lamp volledig op te laden, wat tijd bespaart. Met een ultra-laag stand-by stroomverbruik biedt de NU40 een standby-ervaring van 365 dagen.
De hoofdlamp heeft een maximale output van 1.000 lumen en is speciaal ontworpen voor oriëntatie en zoeken in het donker. Het apparaat maakt gebruik van een optisch lenzensysteem met een lichttransmissie van meer dan 94%, waardoor het licht uniform en zacht reflecteert. De TrueVision+ Technology is ideaal voor het observeren van wegen en het zoeken naar borden.
Met een totaalgewicht van 116g (4,09 oz) is de NU40 ontworpen met een gecombineerde structuur en is geconstrueerd van gestempeld aluminiumlegering voor de voorzijde behuizing en speciale PC-kunststof voor de achterbehuizing. Dit resulteert in een hoge sterkte, comfort en lichtgewicht. De bijgeleverde verbrede hoofdband is huidvriendelijk en heeft een verborgen siliconen strip om zweet naar de zijkanten van het hoofd af te voeren en te voorkomen dat de hoofdband verschuift.
De bijna-centrale zwaartekrachtbeugel vermindert aanzienlijk de druk op het voorhoofd vanaf de onderkant van de beugel zonder schudden tijdens intensieve oefening. Deze is 72° rondom verstelbaar en met één hand bedienbaar. De NU40 is ook beschikbaar met directe toegang tot rood licht of het ULTRALOW-niveau.

The Nitecore NU40 is a headlamp that uses a built-in 18650 Li-ion battery that is lightweight and high in capacity. The device is USB-C rechargeable and has an optimised intelligent charging solution that takes only 1.5 hours to fully charge the lamp, saving time. With ultra-low standby power consumption, the NU40 offers a 365-day standby experience.
