Opstelling
De softbox van 80 x 120 cm geeft een breed en zacht hoofdlicht dat je dicht bij je onderwerp zet. De paraplu vult de schaduwen op vanaf de andere kant. Beide lichtvormers klikken op de Bowens-vatting, dus je wisselt ze zonder gereedschap.
Flitsduur
Elke flitser kent twee standen. In de stand voor stabiele kleur ligt de flitsduur tussen 1/670 en 1/6700 s en verschuift de kleur nauwelijks. In de snelle stand wordt de flits korter, en dat is de stand waarin je een sprong of een spat water stilzet.
Kleurweergave
In de stand voor stabiele kleur ligt de kleurtemperatuur op 5600 K met een marge van 200 K, ook als je het vermogen tijdens de shoot verandert. Dat houdt de twee flitsers onderling gelijk, zodat je achteraf niet per opname hoeft bij te kleuren.
Bediening
Met de XT-16-zender op je camera regel je het vermogen van elke flitser vanaf je standpunt. De flitsers werken in 16 groepen en 32 kanalen, tot ongeveer 50 meter van de zender. Op de flitser zelf lees je alles af op het LCD-paneel.

Aufbau
Die Softbox mit 80 x 120 cm gibt ein breites, weiches Hauptlicht, das du nah ans Motiv stellst. Der Schirm hellt die Schatten von der anderen Seite auf. Beide Lichtformer rasten am Bowens-Bajonett ein, du wechselst sie also ohne Werkzeug.
Blitzdauer
Jeder Blitz hat zwei Modi. Im Modus für stabile Farbe liegt die Blitzdauer zwischen 1/670 und 1/6700 s, und die Farbe verschiebt sich kaum. Im schnellen Modus wird der Blitz kürzer, und das ist der Modus, in dem du einen Sprung oder einen Wasserspritzer stehen lässt.
Farbwiedergabe
Im Modus für stabile Farbe liegt die Farbtemperatur bei 5600 K mit einer Toleranz von 200 K, auch wenn du die Leistung während des Shootings änderst. Das hält die zwei Blitze untereinander gleich, sodass du hinterher nicht jede Aufnahme einzeln nachfärben musst.
Bedienung
Mit dem XT-16-Sender auf der Kamera regelst du die Leistung jedes Blitzes von deinem Standpunt aus. Die Blitze arbeiten in 16 Gruppen und 32 Kanälen, bis etwa 50 Meter vom Sender. Am Blitz selbst liest du alles am LCD-Feld ab.

Set-up
The 80 x 120 cm softbox gives a broad, soft key light that you place close to the subject. The umbrella fills the shadows from the other side. Both shapers click onto the Bowens mount, so you swap them without tools.
Flash duration
Each head has two modes. In stable colour mode the flash duration sits between 1/670 and 1/6700 s and the colour barely shifts. In fast mode the flash gets shorter, and that is the mode for stopping a jump or a splash of water.
Colour
In stable colour mode the colour temperature sits at 5600 K within a 200 K margin, even when you change power during the shoot. That keeps the two heads matched to each other, so you are not correcting colour frame by frame afterwards.
Control
The XT-16 trigger on your camera sets the power of each head from where you stand. The heads work in 16 groups and 32 channels, up to roughly 50 metres from the trigger. On the head itself you read everything from the LCD panel.
