Vermogen
Een xenonflitser geeft in een fractie van een seconde veel meer licht dan de LED van je telefoon. Daarmee bevries je beweging en heb je ook in een donker café of bij tegenlicht genoeg licht op je onderwerp. Het beste resultaat haal je binnen 2 meter van je onderwerp. Met high-speed sync houd je een zonnige achtergrond in beeld terwijl de flitser je onderwerp belicht.
Flitsstanden
Kies je TTL, dan bepaalt de app zelf hoeveel licht er nodig is. Met de belichtingscorrectie van -3 tot +3 in stappen van 1/3 maak je de flits lichter of donkerder. Wil je alles zelf bepalen, dan stel je het vermogen handmatig in van 1/1 tot 1/128, ook in stappen van 1/3 stop.
App
In de A-stand regelt de Godox Camera-app de belichting automatisch en kies je uit drie flitseffecten: Natural, Even en Contrast. In de M-stand stel je zelf sluitertijd, ISO en witbalans in en kies je tussen TTL en handmatig vermogen. De A2 koppel je met NFC aan je iPhone, daarna loopt de verbinding via Bluetooth, ook als de flitser los van je telefoon staat.
Kleurweergave
Voor video of als je liever met continu licht werkt, zet je de LED-ring aan. Met de knoppen kies je uit vier vaste kleurtemperaturen: 2800, 3200, 4500 en 5600 K. In de app regel je de kleurtemperatuur traploos en stel je de helderheid per procent in.
Montage
De A2 is aan twee kanten magnetisch. De achterkant hecht aan je iPhone, maar ook aan een metalen oppervlak of een statief, zodat het licht van opzij of van boven kan komen. Op de magnetische ring aan de voorkant zet je de meegeleverde diffusorkap of de lichtvormers uit de Godox AK-R1 MINI Accessory Kit for Round Flash Head. Met de los verkrijgbare PS01-telefoonhouder, die 360 graden draait, wissel je makkelijk naar selfies.

Leistung
Ein Xenonblitz liefert in einem Sekundenbruchteil deutlich mehr Licht als die LED deines Telefons. So frierst du Bewegungen ein und hast auch in einem dunklen Café oder im Gegenlicht genug Licht auf deinem Motiv. Die besten Ergebnisse erzielst du bis 2 Meter Abstand zum Motiv. Mit High-Speed-Sync bleibt ein sonniger Hintergrund im Bild, während der Blitz dein Motiv aufhellt.
Blitzmodi
Wählst du TTL, bestimmt die App selbst, wie viel Licht nötig ist. Mit der Belichtungskorrektur von -3 bis +3 in Drittelstufen machst du den Blitz heller oder dunkler. Willst du alles selbst festlegen, stellst du die Leistung manuell von 1/1 bis 1/128 ein, ebenfalls in Drittelstufen.
App
Im A-Modus regelt die Godox Camera App die Belichtung automatisch, und du wählst aus drei Blitzeffekten: Natural, Even und Contrast. Im M-Modus stellst du Verschlusszeit, ISO und Weißabgleich selbst ein und wählst zwischen TTL und manueller Leistung. Den A2 koppelst du per NFC mit deinem iPhone, danach läuft die Verbindung über Bluetooth, auch wenn der Blitz getrennt vom Telefon steht.
Farbwiedergabe

Montage

The Godox A2 is a proper xenon flash for your iPhone. It attaches magnetically to the back of your phone, and you control it through the Godox Camera app or with the buttons on the housing. A bi-colour LED ring around the flash tube gives you continuous light for video as well.

Power
A xenon flash puts out far more light in a fraction of a second than your phone's LED. That lets you freeze motion and still have enough light on your subject in a dark café or against the light. You get the best results within 2 metres of your subject. With high-speed sync you keep a sunny background in the shot while the flash lights your subject.
Flash modes
In TTL mode the app works out how much light is needed. Exposure compensation from -3 to +3 in 1/3 steps lets you make the flash brighter or darker. If you want full control, you set the power manually from 1/1 down to 1/128, also in 1/3 stop increments.
App
In A mode the Godox Camera app handles exposure automatically and you choose from three flash effects: Natural, Even and Contrast. In M mode you set shutter speed, ISO and white balance yourself and choose between TTL and manual power. You pair the A2 with your iPhone over NFC, after which it connects via Bluetooth, even when the flash is away from your phone.
Colour rendering
For video, or when you prefer to work with continuous light, you switch on the LED ring. The buttons give you four fixed colour temperatures: 2800, 3200, 4500 and 5600 K. In the app you adjust the colour temperature continuously and set the brightness in 1% steps.
Mounting
The A2 is magnetic on both sides. The back sticks to your iPhone, but also to a metal surface or a stand, so the light can come from the side or from above. The magnetic ring on the front takes the included dome diffuser or the modifiers from the Godox AK-R1 MINI Accessory Kit for Round Flash Head. With the optional PS01 phone mount, which rotates 360 degrees, switching to selfies is easy.
