De Cokin Pro Basic Kit 2 W951 bestaat uit een Cokin X-Pro filterhouder, een rechthoekig grijsverloopfilter en een rond polarisatiefilter. De Cokin X-Pro filterhouder biedt plaats aan 2 rechthoekige filters en 1 rond filter en wordt aan een objectief bevestigd met een los verkrijgbare adapter ring. Deze adapter ring wordt niet meegeleverd bij deze kit, kijk hiervoor onder het tabblad accessoires. Met de 2 stelschroeven op de zijkant van de filterhouder kunt u de filters vastzetten.

Grijsverloopfilter
Een grijsverloopfilter is zeer handig als u meer controle wilt over de lichtbalans binnen uw compositie zoals bij een landschapsfoto met een hoog contrast. Met een grijsverloopfilter voorkomt u dat de lucht overbelicht raakt als u focust op de voorgrond of dat de voorgrond onderbelicht raakt als u focust op de lucht.

Polarisatiefilter
Een polarisatie filter is ideaal voor landschapsfoto's, door aan het polarisatiefilter te draaien kunt u verschillende kleuren blauw tevoorschijn laten komen. U kunt dus zelf bepalen hoe blauw u uw lucht wilt hebben. Ook voor wateroppervlakken is een polarisatiefilter aan te raden. U kunt namelijk door middel van het filter kiezen of het water spiegelend is, of dat u "de diepte" in wilt fotograferen.

Cokin X-PRO-serie
De X-PRO-serie van Cokin is gericht op professionele fotografen. De "X-PRO Serie"-filters worden aangeraden voor het gebruik op objectieven met een filtermaat tussen de 62mm en 112mm.

Cokin Pro Basic Kit 2 W951
The Cokin Pro Basic Kit 2 W951 consists of a Cokin X-Pro filter holder, a rectangular grey gradient filter and a round polarising filter. The Cokin X-Pro filter holder holds 2 rectangular filters and 1 round filter and is attached to a lens with a separately available adapter ring. This adapter ring is not included with this kit, please check the accessories tab. The two adjusting screws on the side of the filter holder allow you to fix the filters.

Grey gradient filter
A grey gradient filter is very useful if you want more control over the light balance in your composition such as in a high contrast landscape photo. It prevents the sky from being overexposed when you focus on the foreground or the foreground from being underexposed when you focus on the sky.

Polarization filter
A polarisation filter is ideal for landscape photos, by turning the polarisation filter you can make different shades of blue appear. So you can decide how blue you want your sky to be. A polarizing filter is also recommended for water surfaces. The filter allows you to choose whether the water is reflective or whether you want to photograph "in depth".

Cokin X-PRO Series
Cokin's X-PRO series is aimed at professional photographers. The "X-PRO Series" filters are recommended for use on lenses with a filter size between 62mm and 112mm.
