De Caruba Tripod Mount Ring A II (W) is een statiefgondel voor het Canon EF 70-200mm f/4 USM objectief. Door gebruik te maken van deze statiefkraag bevestig je dit grote objectief op een statief. Dit zorgt voor een betere gewichtsverdeling van de apparatuur dan wanneer je de camerabody direct op het statief zou bevestigen. Bovendien wordt hierdoor de lensmount van de camera ontlast wat zeer belangrijk is als je met zo'n zwaar objectief werkt. Een andere bijkomstigheid van het gebruik van de Caruba STG-6 ringmount is dat je gemakkelijk tussen portret- en landschapsstand kunt wisselen.

The use of this Ring Mount results in a better weight distribution of your equipment, compared to mounting the camera body directly to the tripod. Also, the mount allows you to rotate the camera-body-combination more easily on the tripod.
