De Vortex Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder beschikt over vier richtmodi; een normale modus, voorste modus, achterste modus en een modus voor uitgebreid laserbereik. Hierdoor is de afstandsmeter geschikt voor gebruik in elke omgeving. Om de afstandsmeter op een statief te gebruiken is deze aan de onderzijde voorzien van 1/4"-20 statiefaansluiting. Of draag hem aan je broekriem met de clip aan de zijkant van de Razor HD 4000. Zo heb je de afstandsmeter altijd direct bij de hand.

Horizontaal afstand meten
De Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) is de belangrijkste modus. De getoonde afstand is de afstand horizontaal gemeten tot een objectief. HCD is te gebruiken in de volgende situaties; afstand meten op een vlakke ondergrond bij elk bereik, afstand meten tot een bereik van 800 meter bij een lichte helling van minder dan 15 graden, afstand meten tot een bereik van 400 meter met een matige helling van 15 tot 30 graden. De HCD-modus biedt nauwkeurige afstandsmeting die nodig is voor boog- en geweerschutters om hun doel te kunnen raken.

Gezichtsveld meting
De Vortex Razor HD 4000 heeft naast de HCD-modus een Line of Sight (LOS)-modus die de werkelijke afstand bij een zichtlijn weergeeft en een scanfunctie waarmee een continu meting wordt uitgevoerd om de afstand tot een bewegend object, zoals wegrennend wild, te meten.

Optiek van de Razor HD4000
Het HD Optical System maakt gebruik van geoptimaliseerde glazen lenselementen voor een zeer hoge resolutie en een uitstekende kleurgetrouwheid en rand-tot-rand scherpte. Vortex XRPlus full-multicoating zorgen voor een zeer hoge lichttransmissie om maximale helderheid te garanderen. De lenselementen zijn voorzien van Armor Tek, een ultraharde, krasvaste coating die beschermt tegen krassen, olie en vuil.

Robuuste en duurzaam
De Vortex Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder heeft een robuust ontwerp. Hierdoor is het geschikt voor gebruik in alle situaties. De afstandsmeter heeft een magnesium chassis waardoor deze compact en licht van gewicht is. Het is voorzien van een Rubber Armor pantser voor een veilige antislipgrip en een duurzame bescherming. Waterdichte O-ringen voorkomen dat vocht, stof en vuil de behuizing kunnen binnendringen. Door het all-weather ontwerp is de afstandsmeter onder alle weersomstandigheden te gebruiken.

Vortex Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder
The Vortex Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder has four aiming modes; a normal mode, front mode, rear mode and a mode for extended laser range. This makes the rangefinder suitable for use in any environment. To use the rangefinder on a tripod, it has a 1/4"-20 tripod connection at the bottom. Or wear it on your belt with the clip on the side of the Razor HD 4000. In this way, you always have the rangefinder directly at hand.

Measuring Distance Horizontally
The Horizontal Component Distance (HCD) is the most important mode. The displayed distance is the distance measured horizontally to a lens. HCD can be used in the following situations; measuring distance on a flat surface at any range, measuring distance up to a range of 800 metres at a slight incline of less than 15 degrees, measuring distance up to a range of 400 metres at a moderate incline of 15 to 30 degrees. The HCD mode provides accurate distance measurement necessary for bow and rifle shooters to hit their targets.

Field of view measurement
In addition to the HCD mode, the Vortex Razor HD 4000 has a Line of Sight (LOS) mode that displays the actual distance at a line of sight and a scan function that takes a continuous measurement to measure the distance to a moving object, such as running game.

Optics of the Razor HD4000
The HD Optical System uses optimised glass lens elements for very high resolution and excellent colour fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness. Vortex XRPlus full-multicoating ensures very high light transmission to ensure maximum clarity. The lens elements have Armor Tek, an ultra-hard, scratch-resistant coating that protects against scratches, oil and dirt.

The Vortex Razor HD 4000 Laser Rangefinder has a robust design. This makes it suitable for use in all situations. The rangefinder has a magnesium chassis which makes it compact and lightweight.
