Overdrachtssnelheid en chip
De DT580 is uitgerust met de Intel JHL9480-chip en biedt overdrachtssnelheden tot 80 Gbps via Thunderbolt 5. Daarmee is een bestand van 6 GB in één seconde over te zetten. De behuizing ondersteunt het Single-Protocol NVMe-formaat en is achterwaarts compatibel met Thunderbolt 4 en USB4.
Koeling en behuizing
Het meervoudige koelsysteem houdt de behuizing binnen en buiten koel, vermindert energieverbruik en voorkomt snelheidsverlies door oververhitting. De behuizing is vervaardigd uit aluminium legering en weegt slechts 92 g bij afmetingen van 11 × 4 × 2,3 cm.
