Poten
De poten zijn afgewerkt met silicone en blijven staan in de vorm die je ze geeft. Je wikkelt ze om een fietsstuur, een stoelpoot of een balustrade. Zet je hem op tafel, dan buig je de uiteinden een stukje om tot je het beeld recht hebt.
Zuignappen
Aan het eind van elke poot zit een zuignap. Die pakt op glad en gesloten materiaal: een ruit, een spiegel, een tegelwand of gelakt plaatwerk. Op hout, steen en textiel houdt een zuignap niet, en daar buig je de poten dus ergens omheen.
Standhoek
De voetring draai je met een hand. In de ene stand staan de poten schuin naar buiten en heb je een gewoon statiefje. In de andere liggen ze vlak, waardoor alle zuignappen tegelijk aandrukken en je de meeste zuigkracht hebt.

Beine
Die Beine sind mit Silikon überzogen und behalten die Form, die du ihnen gibst. Du wickelst sie um einen Fahrradlenker, ein Stuhlbein oder ein Geländer. Auf dem Tisch biegst du die Enden ein Stück um, bis das Bild gerade steht.
Saugnäpfe
Am Ende jedes Beins sitzt ein Saugnapf. Er greift auf glattem, geschlossenem Material: einer Scheibe, einem Spiegel, einer Fliesenwand oder lackiertem Blech. Auf Holz, Stein und Textil hält ein Saugnapf nicht, dort wickelst du die Beine einfach um etwas herum.
Standwinkel
Den Fußring drehst du mit einer Hand. In der einen Stellung stehen die Beine schräg nach außen und du hast ein normales Stativ. In der anderen liegen sie flach, sodass alle Saugnäpfe gleichzeitig andrücken und du die größte Saugkraft hast.

The JOBY PodZilla Octo Suction Action Tripod (Grey) is a bendable mini tripod with suction cups on the leg tips, made for an action camera. You wrap the legs around a pole or a branch, or you stick the tripod to a window or a smooth tiled wall.

Legs
The legs are covered in silicone and hold the shape you give them. You wrap them around a handlebar, a chair leg or a railing. On a table you bend the tips over a little until the shot sits level.
Suction cups
Each leg ends in a suction cup. It grips smooth, closed material: a window, a mirror, a tiled wall or painted metal. On wood, stone and fabric a suction cup will not hold, and there you wrap the legs around something instead.
Stance angle
You turn the base ring with one hand. In one position the legs splay outwards and you have an ordinary tripod. In the other they lie flat, so every suction cup presses down at once and you get the strongest hold.
