Info

JOBY GorillaPod 3K Ultra Kit

JOBY GorillaPod 3K Ultra Kit
The JOBY GorillaPod 3K Ultra Kit combines the flexible GorillaPod 3K tripod with a quick release ball head, together rated for 3 kg. Bend and wrap the legs around a railing, branch or fence, or stand them up as a tabletop tripod. The Arca-compatible quick release plate gets your camera mounted in seconds.

Highlights

  • Flexible legs that wrap around poles, branches and fences
  • Rubber on the joints and feet for grip on any surface
  • Holds up to 3 kg, enough for a mirrorless camera with lens
  • Ball head with clamp for 38 mm Arca-type plates and a dual lock
  • Rotating cold shoe for a microphone or light
  • 1/4" mount plus an included 3/8" adapter

Legs
The legs are made of large ball joints that each bend independently. That keeps the tripod stable on uneven ground and lets you wrap it around a railing, branch or post. The joints and feet are covered in grippy rubber.

Ball head
The ball head has a clamp that takes most 38 mm Arca-type quick release plates. A safety lock and a side locking latch work together to stop your camera from dropping. The head rotates 360° on its base, and the U-notch turns the camera to portrait in a moment. The head is built from aluminium and stainless steel.

Accessories
The head has a 1/4" screw for a camera or phone mount, and a cold shoe that rotates 360° for a microphone or light. There is a 1/4" thread under the head, so you can also use it on its own on another tripod, magic arm or selfie stick. The included adapter fits devices with a 3/8" thread.
