De JJC Auto Extension Tube For Canon AET-C25 is een extension tube van 25mm die geschikt is voor gebruik met Canon EF-S en Canon EF objectieven. Een extension tube heeft geen optische elementen waardoor de kwaliteit van uw objectief gewaarborgd blijft en de functionaliteit van uw objectief niet verandert.

Elk objectief heeft een minimale scherpstelafstand. Door een extension tube tussen uw camera body en uw objectief te plaatsen verkleint u de minimale scherpstelafstand. Dit heeft als resultaat dat u uw onderwerp groter in beeld kunt brengen, ideaal voor bijvoorbeeld macrofotografie.

Hoe werkt een tussenring?
Een tussenring zorgt ervoor dat er een grotere afstand ontstaat tussen de beeldsensor van de camera en de achterste lens van het objectief. Hierdoor wordt de scherpstelafstand van het objectief korter, waardoor het mogelijk wordt dichter op het onderwerp scherp te stellen. Hierdoor wordt het onderwerp groter op de sensor geprojecteerd dan zonder tussenring het geval zou zijn. Een tussenring vergroot dus de eigen vergrotingsfactor van een objectief.

Dit kunt u met de volgende formule berekenen.
maximale vergrotingsfactor met tussenring = vergrotingsfactor objectief + (mm tussenring / brandpuntsafstand) 

Stel u heeft een 85mm objectief met een eigen vergrotingsfactor van 0.13. Met de 25mm tussenring wordt de vergrotingsfactor van het objectief als volgt.

maximale vergrotingsfactor met 25mm tussenring = 0.13 + (25 / 85) = 0.13 + 0.29 = 0.42

The JJC Auto Extension Tube For Canon AET-C25 is a 25mm extension tube suitable for use with Canon EF-S and Canon EF lenses. An extension tube has no optical elements so the quality of your lens is maintained and the functionality of your lens does not change.

Every lens has a minimum focusing distance. By placing an extension tube between your camera body and your lens, you reduce the minimum focusing distance. As a result, you can view your subject in a larger frame, which is ideal for macro photography, for example.

How does a spacer ring work?
A spacer ring creates a larger distance between the image sensor of the camera and the rear lens of the lens. This shortens the focusing distance of the lens, making it possible to focus closer on the subject. As a result, the subject is projected onto the sensor larger than it would be without a spacer ring. A spacer ring thus increases the magnification factor of a lens.

This can be calculated using the following formula.
Maximum magnification with a spacer ring = lens magnification factor + (mm spacer ring / focal length) 

Suppose you have an 85mm lens with a magnification factor of 0.13. With the 25mm spacer ring the magnification of the lens becomes as follows.
