Arca-Swiss
Het Arca-Swiss profiel is een zwaluwstaart die in de klem van de kop wordt geknepen. Je schuift de plaat er van opzij in en zet de klem vast. Omdat het profiel over de hele lengte doorloopt, kun je de camera naar voren en naar achteren verschuiven om hem uit te balanceren.
Antislip
De bovenkant heeft antislipmateriaal. Dat houdt de camera recht op de plaat in plaats van dat hij om de schroef draait, en het beschermt de onderkant van de body.
Tweede plaat
Werk je met twee camera’s, dan laat je op allebei een plaat zitten en wissel je ze op de kop zonder te schroeven. Dat scheelt tijd op het moment dat je van body wilt wisselen.

Arca-Swiss
Das Arca-Swiss-Profil ist ein Schwalbenschwanz, der in der Klemme des Kopfs geklemmt wird. Du schiebst die Platte von der Seite hinein und ziehst die Klemme fest. Weil das Profil über die ganze Länge durchläuft, kannst du die Kamera nach vorn und hinten verschieben, um sie auszubalancieren.
Rutschfest
Die Oberseite hat rutschfestes Material. Das hält die Kamera gerade auf der Platte, statt dass sie sich um die Schraube dreht, und schützt die Unterseite des Gehäuses.
Zweite Platte

Arca-Swiss
The Arca-Swiss profile is a dovetail that the clamp on the head grips. You slide the plate in from the side and tighten the clamp. Because the profile runs the full length, you can move the camera forwards and backwards to balance it.
Non-slip
The top carries non-slip material. That keeps the camera square on the plate instead of letting it swivel around the screw, and it protects the base of the body.
Second plate
If you work with two cameras, you leave a plate on each and swap them at the head without any screwing. That saves time at the moment you want to change bodies.
