De Caruba Videostar 188 videostandaard is zeer robuust en stabiel en kan apparaten dragen tot een gewicht van 15 kilogram. Het heeft een videokop met handvat en een praktische waterpas om de camera heel precies te positioneren. De kop wordt in een cup van 75 mm geplaatst. Het statief is gemaakt van stevig maar lichtgewicht aluminium waardoor het gemakkelijk te vervoeren is. De poten van het statief zijn uitschuifbaar en bestaan uit 3 segmenten die eenvoudig te verstellen zijn met de klem.
Veelzijdige statiefkop
De statiefkop van de Videostar 188 heeft een snelspanklem inclusief een Manfrotto 200PL compatibele snelwisselplaat. Zo zet je je camera snel op het statief. Met de waterpas op de spin en de klem kun je apparaten snel en precies uitlijnen. De statief-kop kan in twee richtingen worden gedraaid en gekanteld. Hierdoor kun je de camera in elke richting positioneren en fixeren. De snelkoppelingsplaat heeft een 1/4" schroef waardoor hij onder bijna elke camera kan worden bevestigd.
Stabiele basis
De Videostar 188 is snel op te zetten dankzij de klemvergrendeling. De vloerspreider zorgt voor extra stabiliteit. Aan de onderkant van de poten zitten rubberen voetjes die zich aanpassen aan de grond zodat het statief ook op oneffen terrein stabiel staat. Twee sets spike, één in een hoek van 45 graden, zorgen voor een stevige grip op vrijwel elk type ruw terrein. Een praktische draagtas met schouderband is bij de levering inbegrepen.
