De SMDV RFN-4 Wireless Shutter Release Samsung (RF-909) is een afstandsbedieningsset die zowel draadloos als bedraad gebruikt kan worden. De RFN-4 is een geweldige accessoire voor fotograferen vanaf een statief. Je kunt hierbij denken aan macrofotografie of opnames met lange sluitertijden. Door het gebruik van deze afstandsbediening hoef je de camera niet aan te raken waardoor onbedoeld bewegen van de camera wordt voorkomen. Hierdoor behoren onscherpe foto's tot het verleden.

Werking van de zender en ontvanger
Door de ontspanknop op de zender half in te drukken stelt de camera scherp. Druk je de knop helemaal in dan wordt er een opname gemaakt. De ontvanger heeft een ontspanknop met vergrendeling, de zogenaamde bulb-functie. Deze functie maakt het mogelijk om opnames met lange sluitertijden te maken. Hierbij kun je denken aan startrails of mooie lichtsporen van verkeer op een snelweg. Je kunt de ontvanger ook als bedrade afstandsbediening gebruiken en je hebt dan geen batterij nodig. Zowel de zender als ontvanger werken op één AAA-batterij. Deze batterijen worden niet meegeleverd. De zender en ontvanger zijn voorzien van gekleurde LED's die de status van de diverse functies, zoals scherpstellen en afdrukken, aanduiden. 

Storingsvrije werking met 16 kanalen
De set bestaat uit een zender en ontvanger die in de 2.4GHz frequentieband werken. Met de meegeleverde polsriem met kanaalkeuze pin stel je de afstandsbediening gemakkelijk op een van de 16 kanalen in. Hierdoor ben je altijd verzekerd van een storingsvrije werking. De compacte SMDV RFN-4 Wireless Shutter Release werkt betrouwbaar over een afstand circa 80 meter.

The SMDV RFN-4 Wireless Shutter Release Samsung (RF-909) is a remote control set that can be used either wirelessly or wired. The RFN-4 is a great accessory for shooting from a tripod. You can think of macro photography or shooting with slow shutter speeds. By using this remote control, you do not need to touch the camera, which prevents unintentional movement of the camera. This makes blurred photos a thing of the past.

Operation of the transmitter and receiver
By half-pressing the shutter button on the transmitter, the camera will focus. When you press the button all the way down, a picture is taken. The receiver has a release button with a lock, the so-called bulb function. This function makes it possible to take pictures with long shutter speeds. For example, you can take pictures of starting rails or beautiful light trails from traffic on a highway. You can also use the receiver as a wired remote control and you do not need a battery. Both the transmitter and the receiver run on one AAA battery. These batteries are not included. The transmitter and receiver are equipped with coloured LEDs that indicate the status of the various functions, such as focusing and printing. 

Interference-free operation with 16 channels
The set consists of a transmitter and receiver operating in the 2.4GHz frequency band. With the supplied wrist strap with channel selector pin, you can easily set the remote control to one of the 16 channels. This way, you are always assured of interference-free operation. The compact SMDV RFN-4 Wireless Shutter Release works reliably over a distance of about 80 metres.
